JASON WOODSIDE’S MODERN ART HITS MAINSTREAM
A Portrait of Jason Woodside

St. Augustine, Florida – The avant garde artwork of talented local artist Jason Woodside is receiving rave reviews from world-renowned galleries and art collectors. His exhibitions in Los Angeles, St. Augustine, New York, Miami and Sydney have received critical acclaim for their fusion of urban and natural influences, blending modern, retro and beyond.  The young artist often uses thick black lines and bright colors on bleached white canvas to broadcast directly to the mind’s eye.  Step into Jason Woodside's world where vampires invade Chinatown and Frank Sinatra has a magenta tan.

Woodside was recently commissioned by Michel Roux, early marketing genius of Absolut vodka, to create the illustration of the “Absinthe” liquor bottle that is currently being used to launch a nationwide advertising campaign for that product.  Roux is also well known for his promotion of young artists including Andy Warhol, Keith Herring and Romero Britto.  Woodside recently hosted a sold out show at the Absolute Americana gallery.

A native of St. Augustine, Woodside also lived in New York, where he attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.  A native of St. Augustine, Woodside also lived in New York, where he attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.  His paintings are currently on display at various boutique art galleries, many of which you can see at www.jasonwoodside.com.

Last May, Jason spent the month in South Florida working closely with Brazilian pop artist, Romeo Britto, creating more pieces and promoting his upcoming show at Britto Central in downtown Miami.

He has recently combined the dynamic worlds of art and fashion with hip clothing and the Sekoya Jeans denim line.  You can find his products as well as the latest updates at www.Jasonwoodside.com.
